What's the Weirdest Fibromyalgia Symptom You've Experienced?

@mimi2too have you had shingles? My burning patches became more sensitive after I had it.

The most bizarre symptom I feel from fibromyalgia is a sharpening of my senses, especially the sense of smell and the sense of hearing. I am much more sensitive to noises and smells than others!

Not sure if this is caused by the Fibromyalgia, but I will get patches of burning on my skin. The patches that feel like they are burning, are bright red and hot to the touch. I haven’t had a rheumatologist for 8 years because we moved and I lost my insurance.

I get tremors if I have overexerted my body. I also have vision and hearing issues during a flare and it is the worst!

I get the creepy bug feelings too. I also hurt constantly in my shoulders and sometimes it feels like someone is poking me with something hot.

I'm not sure how to describe it ... kind of like being smothered by an overly hot blanket while still too cold and that blanket has kookaburras all over

I get electric shock without the electricy, when it really flares I have to wear gloves just so I can pick up a glass

I get a burning tingle on inside of my thighs; when I get cold. It is so painful. Its not everyday. It started as just patches of the burning tingle, now it's sometimes all over but mainly inside my thighs.

I also randomly get almost like phantom pains, but from previous injuries thatve healed?? Like at random moments, even when I haven’t done anything out of the norm to irritate or inflame the area

I relate to the person who said about the bugs crawling up them. Even when there’s nothing on/touching a specific part of my body, I get random tingles and sensations like something is crawling on me, even if I try to write it off as anxiety or my nerves, I have to physically touch and look at the area and it’ll go away, then come back in a completely different spot, it’s so frustrating. I also constantly feel fatigued but as soon as I lay down and rest i feel restless and almost am immediately uncomfortable wherever I’m sitting like I can never get comfy

I get this burning sensation that slowly creeps over my body and then it's gone as quickly as it starts.
