It took a really long time for me to find the right meds, the right kind of therapy, a more supportive social network, the right kinds of activities for me, etc. I'm 37 now and I sometimes mourn that I didn't get to have a young life due to severe traumas. But right now I feel, for the most part, I've slowly developed a life I feel is more rewarding and joyful. Things aren't perfect all the time but there are definitely more good times than bad. Figuring out my health issues still and my psych meds still need tweaking from time to time. Just trying to go with the flow and cope as best as I can. Keep reaching out! We hear you and have hope for you.

29-32 sucked for me (chronic fatigue, etc). 38-39 also sucked (1st breast cancer). But then, the chemo actually fixed most symptoms, so had a good stretch until 59 (Pots and then 2nd breast cancer). Reason for the detail. Things change. Theres always a fun and good things in every experience. I never had to miss a game of softball for cancer and treatment made friendships even stronger. With POTS, the grandkids sit with me and give many hugs, play board games, think more of others.

Turned 32 end of August and I wonder if things really will get better. Like, maybe this is just as good as it gets. Or, maybe this will be my year of growth. Hindsight is always 20/20.
