People criticize things they don't understand sometimes. And it doesn't help that school moves at a pace that can't slow down for people struggling. If you can, reach out to a therapist and they can help you combat depression. It's not an easy thing to overcome, unfortunately, but every step you take for the better matters. Heck, being here on this app is something to show for. I know what it's like for parents to not understand your condition and call you lazy for it, trust me. But if you can, don't let them get to you. I know it's hard, but the journey towards a better life is yours and yours alone. No one else can dictate that but you. You got this! I know you're an amazing person and you deserve a better life! Don't let anyone get you down, you're too cool for that!

People who don’t understand think depression equals laziness but it does not. So sorry you are being treated that way and hopefully they will come around. Keep going. As long as there is life there is hope 🙏 ❤️
