Feeling Lonely and Heartbroken for Years

Maybe look into music therapy. Feeling depressed and connecting to depressing music is the iso principle and the golden rule of music therapy; start where the patient is emotionally. Basically the music slowly gets less depressing and the idea is that it brings you up with it.

Also here if you need someone to vent to. Being alone has its benefits but certainly has its troubles as well.
