i might have just flunked out of college. first semester of my freshman year and i may have lost my scholarship (the only reason i can afford class) because i gave up halfway through the semester. i felt so exhausted working 2 jobs and taking all of my classes that it was just easier to show up and take tests than fight to do homework and other assignments after work everyday. constant chores and paying for gas. im exhausted. i feel like i failed...

You. Did. Not. Fail. You were overworked and you are human. We are not machines we can not be overworked and perform a bunch of things perfectly 24/7. Give yourself credit for trying. I donāt know anyone who could handle two jobs and college and not have some sort of struggle. You will be okay. Iām going through the same thing and I have to take a semester off. Youāre mental health comes first!!! And overworking yourself can cause our mental health to deteriorate so please practice self care and realize that you tried and you must put your health first. Everything will work out I promise you. And you are not alone with this. Many of us are in the same boat as you. Thereās other options like more scholarships, financial aid, retaking classes, trade school, semester off, another college etc. find what works for you and also thereās accommodations that schools offer so take advantage of that and donāt lose hope. If you do fail thereās so many chances to try again but please practice self care, you got this ā¤ļø
My college has a buffer for flunking out (usually you get a semester to fix it) but idk about yours. If that's not the case, you can request to be allowed back on a sort of probation if sorts. Either way, may I suggest the idea of acquiring accomodations, working a few less hours, or taking less classes?
@DeadlyTripster I'm working the second job as a seasonal worker, so next semester I would have more time to focus on school work. I am under academic probation, but I am unsure if I will be able to use my scholarship next semester since I don't know if they check GPA's at the end of each semester or the end of each academic year. I hope that I am able to continue as a student, but who knows at this point
