Why Don't People Ask How You Are?

I know but how do you explain this to a teenager. I'll tell my daughter this all the time but she doesn't understand it and takes it so personal. I don't know what else to do to help her

Maybe they are the wrong people

Cause some people don't care about how you are that means the people your around may not be the best people to have around. I'm sorry hun ik the feeling 😞 but also since getting clean I'm learning that I can only control my own self but you need people who actually care about you and want you to be the best self you can be.
