I feel like I'm bothering my friends and I dont want to explicitly tell them how I'm doing because I know how they try and fix things and feel as if its their responsibility. I dont want to go through this alone but I can't come to tell them.

I completely understand this. Unfortunately I tend to just distance myself and ignore texts for weeks, sometimes months, I usually won’t reply by then but it takes me that long to even open some simple messages. I hate feeling like a burden or that I’m just complaining constantly. I will say though that through everything I’ve gone through, especially lately (which is a hell of a lot of craziness- lots of criminal charges, heroin addiction, etc) I have a few friends that really do care and really keep trying to reach out, even though I haven’t seen them in years and rarely talk to them. Just remember that people are your friends for a reason. And sometimes it’s good to just have someone listen and not judge, they don’t always have to try and fix things, and if you need to let them know that.
