Insane Ingrown Hairs with EDS

Does anyone with EDS get insane ingrown hairs?I shave my legs and it’s like the hair grows under the skin when it comes back?! I’m assuming it’s due to the collagen. Any advise to help with these painful little jerks, as exfoliating doesn’t seem to help much?

It so sucks doesn’t it!? I did laser hair removal in the past… it hurts, is wicked expensive and didn’t last as long as they said so I’m skeptical to do it again. But, I do think it’s the only real solution ☹️I wonder if insurance will now pick this up?

Mine is the same way. Never thought about it before.

it’s so annoying and uncomfortable not to mention embarrassing at times! Do you use any products that you think help? I’m willing to try anything at this point.

Mine does this too! I’ve pretty much stopped shaving my legs unless it’s a special occasion ☹️

😞I totally understand this! If it wasn’t so hot here I’d be right there with you! I might have to get some long maxi dresses lol

✋I thought it was my psoriasis in action. I keep a good pair of tweezers on hand to use sparingly on the ones that itch or look infected. I have to be careful because if I wound myself, it turns into a spot of psoriasis.

yes!! Lol I’m so glad I’m not the only one who does this! And those suckers won’t come out sometimes! I totally get you though, they easily become infected and then I get dark spots when they heal ☹️
