I'm in a therapy program that is SO fucking boring and unhelpful but I feel like I should keep going to it because it's all I have left of stability in my life. I just can't bear to listen to them talk about the same thing over and over again, they read off of these pamphlets and there is barely any discussion. on top of that they are often weird about gender stuff and can be quite toxic about food. I think it's making me feel worse but I don't know what else to do?? gah

It's sad some times those in classes are there one minute and gone the next you never know what it means to help out by attending the classes they need your support and it's not always what being received but what might help others by being apart of a group might mean is to participate and be apart of the group it might be an answer in meeting an angel in class.

It’s probably a good idea to continue for the routine and keeping stability in your life is important even if it’s really boring. I’m heading you on the toxic part that really sucks. Have you talked to them about what is making your uncomfortable? If not might be worth a try. If it still isn’t working out, you could look for a different program that fits your needs better, but definitely stick with treatment. It is worth it!
