my family tends to be very toxic and chooses favorites, in which i am not one of them. this makes me feel left out and rejected. does anyone have any tips on how i can ignore that and focus on other things?

Maybe it's just a me thing but in high school I learned to just not care in the slightest because after you turn 18 you can do whatever you want and pretty much nothing that happened matters anymore cause now its adulting time you got better things to think about lmao

@edeng you spend 90% of your time with your parents before you turn 18. So it's best to focus on yourself as much as you can and be as independent as possible. Its sucky but that's life šŸ’•

I understand completely I'm the baby out of 11 kids it was a 10 year ago gap between my sister and I and my sister my mom thought she could have anymore kids out came me I felt the same way they Have favorites and they do I was getting upset even crying... I had to build myself up to say I don't care anymore yes it hurts like hell But guess what they need you more then you need them if something happens they going to run to you... so you will be ok...
