Even when I'm feeling good/normal, I can suddenly spiral when something I feel like is "bad" happens and can get suicidal or want to harm myself. Does anyone have advice on how to deal with this?

Get a hobby, go take a walk, talk to someone, meditate, go window shopping don’t spend money unless you rich I’m not I go to the supermarket and read the ingredients I love cooking. I tried to commit suicide three times in my twenties but with medication and a distraction I haven’t tried I’m 47 now.

I am currently going through the same thing... but mine come in episodes and it's been pointed out to me that I say things out of my character and do things out of character... few nights ago I got upset my husband didn't stand next to me at our son's ballgame and then got in this mood and it ended eith me sleeping in my car half the night and barely have a phone left.

It can be good to distract yourself or, similarly, get in a situation away from any harmful things and just feel bad. It's okay and human to have bad thoughts and feelings, but it doesn't make it easier. Let yourself feel and maybe find the root of the emotion

I usually go for a walk or watch my favorite show. Something to take my mind out of reality even for a minute
