I don't know what to do anymore. This time last night (23:30) I was writhing and screaming in pain until four in the morning when my Naproxen finally kicked in. I passed out and puked from the pain, and TENS doesn't work for me. I have a medical appointment coming up sometime soon to discuss further options but I'm incredibly against hormonal birth control due to an intense phobia of gaining weight which stems from past and present eating disorders. I genuinely don't know what to do, if anyone has any advice for me, I am very open to suggestions. I'm at my wit's end here, and I can't do this every month for the rest of my life. It's exhausting.

I've also tried heat in forms such as hot water bottles and heating pads - neither seems to have much effect.

Some suggestions from others who have experienced similar pain include using a heating pad, trying different pain medications like Naproxen or Mefenamic acid (with a doctor's prescription), and seeking advice from an OBGYN. It's important to discuss your concerns and preferences with your healthcare provider to find the best solution for you.
