I am in a career field with mostly men. I work long hours and struggle to go to the bathroom as often as I need to either from upset stomach because of PCOS or to change my menstrual products. I once tried to talk to my boss about my medical issues, and he asked me if I’d considered getting a hysterectomy to resolve them. Does anyone have advice or support for dealing with PCOS in a mostly-male field of work?

tell him that’s a very very drastic choice. also let him know it is not his job to give medical advice, but to provide whatever accommodations you may need.
