Hello there I just need to vent right now I am sitting here on the couch with my husband on the floor beside me and I expressed to him that I have a migraine and he seems like he doesn't even care. He is on his phone listening to video posts that people have posted really loudly I was thinking about taking my migraine meds but I figured it would be a waste of a pill. I could go up in the bedroom but I don't want to and feel I should not have to. I believe he should have enough respect for me to not listen to the videos or use the headphones that I bought for him. So what I am saying is does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this I can't really talk to him about it because he is a narcissist who will never admit to doing anything wrong. Please any and all suggestions are appreciated and welcomed

I'm so sorry you are suffering with a migraine and he is being loud. I usually have to have sound going somewhere in the house so I don't feel alone and it helps keep the furbabies calm. But when I have a migraine I need it really quiet so instead of turning off the sound and feeling alone I put on noise cancelling headphones on white noise or something that doesn't really have vibrating sounds then I put on an eye mask and just try to relax ..if he refuses to allow that...you may need to forcibly set some boundaries when you are suffering... however I don't recommend this when you are actively in pain
