I have bpd and I suspect I’ve had it for a while bc my attachment issues and self destructive behaviors and stuff was present since I was like 6-7, and I feel emotional pain very strongly. (For example when my friends moved away I was heartbroken and cried for a long time even when they didn’t). My partner told me yesterday he’s maybe not moving states with me, which gave me a meltdown/panic attack. I was quiet and in shock and then crying and hyperventilating. My chest hurts when I get sad but it was really really hurting as I was hyperventilating and trying to catch my breath. Today I woke up with really sore abs, all over my abdominal muscles like I did a workout or something. Could this be from the crying and breathing? It’s like I was hit by a physical thing and I’m still hurting. The situation is not as bad as it sounded so I’m less distressed emotionally now but still a little hurt too. Has anyone experienced either intense pain due to emotional pain or sore muscles from a panic attack? I’m also on the spectrum.
