I'm not sure how to start this, but I guess this is my small attempt to reach out to anyone who may have experience or just open to hear about this. I'm a man who has been verbally, mentally, and emotionally abused by his wife. and don't know what to do about it. I love my wife, but life becomes more and more considerably difficult with her. I feel alone and don't know how to proceed.

Maybe all she needs is some Zoloft. That's what I got on to mellow me out. I used to have a problem where I would fight with pillows and get snappy.

Your not alone. My partner of 12 years had so much old trauma that she has no idea how to be in a healthy relationship. Now we have a child with special needs and she won't work so I can never leave. My life is terrible and I can't change it. She definitely is not ever up for healing or improvement.
@isthisseattaken I'm sorry to hear. And thank you for replying
I'm so sorry to hear this. If you ever want to talk, I'm here for you.

@Renall thanks. It's another day with the same stuff
@OverthinkingTurtle I understand completely
I don't know if my reply went through
I think the first step would be to discuss these concerns with her, as uncomfortable as it may be. She needs to know how she makes you feel. Sometimes that’s all people need; to know that their current behavior is negatively affecting you. Then they should take that to heart and improve themselves if they truly love you. So if she’s willing to acknowledge your concerns and try to better herself for you, great. If she refuses to see your point of view and how she negatively affects you…THAT’S when I’d personally start considering making some tough decisions on your part.
@Oranges27 she knows
@OverthinkingTurtle She's well aware.
so sorry to hear this, man. partner abuse is very real and frightening. I'm open to listening, I was verbally and mentally abused by my mom so our experiences are slightly different but also similar.
@Atusin thank you, I appreciate it
I feel this way with my mom.. We get along and love each other but we think differently on things which is fine And she'll always be my mom and tell me what to do and how I should be doing things..💀 and to do the opposite I'm basically asking for an ass whooping 💀
@ITz_Ronie my mom was bossy as hell, 😬
