Yes, my parents and two of my siblings have done this. Then they start denying they ever did anything, that they'd never said that to you. It's sad and not worth the energy

  @RitaMarie I'm sorry, my family does it too. Tbh I'm not even sure what they want me to do, they are nice to my face but they sit there behind my back or when I'm in ear range and talk bad about me. It's like they want me to exist only when it's convenient for them. Other than that, I'm bothersome.

    @OverwhelmedBard same, I don't talk to them anymore. It hurt to cut bridges but it's done wonders for my mental health. I haven't wanted to end my life since I last spoke to my 'mum'.
