How can you help deal with an eating disorder without going to therapy or taking medication? I don’t have the money for therapy right now

You will eventually need to seek treatment once it's more available to you, but in the meantime find an accountability buddy! Someone who you can trust with opening up about it who won't make a big fuss about it and tell them you'd like help harm reduction at least until you can seek better treatment options!

If it’s truly an eating disorder, you’re most likely going to need outside help. I have heard of people doing it without it, but personally I think I’d be lost without my team and probably wouldn’t be typing this message right now. NEDA has a helpline that could help direct you and find something you could afford, they provide support and resources. You can call ((800) 931-2237) or text (800) 931-2237) it. I would say that’s a good starting point. Wishing you the best of luck in recovery!
