Dealing with Complex PTSD and Autoimmune Disease

I was diagnosed with complex PTSD about 5 years ago, around the same time that I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. After being bullied for most of my childhood, I was now having to face a bully that I couldn't run away from.. my own body. I feel silly sometimes at 37, still being affected by things that happened when I was 5. Just wondering if anyone else has similar experiences. I do see a very good therapist but sometimes talking it out with someone who has experienced the same thing makes me feel less alone.
