Does anyone on here have PTSD due to years of bullying in childhood? If so, have you found any ways to overcome this and not get sucked back into those memories and fears? I feel like it holds me back from achieving my goals and meeting new people.... I always fear that the same thing will happen again in my adult life, like when I was a child. It may seem silly, but it is very real to me. Thank you in advance ❤️

Not bullying specifically. EMDR has been good for me. I hear a lot of great things about therapy guided ketamine treatments.

Yes. I recently realized my anger is actually grief if that makes any sense.

@JennyPenny it makes perfect sense to me.

I'm in the same boat, honestly, and it's frustrating how stuck it has me at the moment. For me, progress comes in small bursts, but at least it comes. I hope you can heal!

@minime273 same here. I have moments where I'm doing great and conquering a lot. And then something happens that kind of sets me backwards. Lately it's just been meeting a ton of new people for my job/networking more than usual. So I've been in my head. It really sucks because I feel like I could be 100x more successful if I wasn't held back by my past.
