I’m officially diagnosed is PTSD, since CPSTD isn’t an official diagnosis in the DSM yet. However, my therapist and psychiatrist agree that I do have CPTSD.

I was bullied, I was chubby, I found pornography very young, exposed myself on the internet to someone who groomed me online. my body dysmorphia was never actually diagnosed but I don’t know why. i’ve suffered from binging, i’ve hurt myself,— in march 2021 my mom was severely hospitalized, i began writing her an obituary because i believed she wouldn’t live, i moved to an apt, turns out the roommate was severely mentally ill (and I am certain she has undiagnosed autism, she experiences hypervilgience, and refuses to explain herself, making healthy communication impossible), I spent my days with a broken car, battling a flea infestation without help, and then finding a new roommate! — who is actually fantastic, i’m so happy I met her! but sadly my life has remained a clusterfuck.
yes me! I was diagnosed recently (december?) I grew up around substance abuse, trauma survivors, - a single mom with deeply rooted trauma that went unaddressed her whole life +medical issues, a dad with paranoid schizophrenia, I saw him on weekends until I was like 9 or 10– I found out was dead thru a google search in 2018, my aunt lost her boyfriend in 2004 from a laced overdose and has been in and out of jail, rehab, etc since then, and I’m the golden girl who has to save everyone and make money since I don’t have a safety net because there was never anything to save really my mom lived paycheck to paycheck most of the time and wasn’t great with her money other wise

Here, about 2 or 3 years ago.
Yep. Cptsd with avoidant PD. Distortions are part of the package. Whee!
Yup. Im 25, had it since I was twelve or younger depending how you view symptoms.
Yes, it's repeated trauma that causes the brain to stay in PTSD mode at basically all times. The earliest I can trace mine back is when I was 5 years old.
Yes! I have been. I'm seeing a trauma therapist at the moment.
No, im just diagnosed with trauma and stressor related, not otherwise specified because my developmental trauma doesnt meet the criteria for PTSD 🤪 but i definitely relate more with CPTSD, but have also had traumatic sexual assault experiences that confuse me. And i also can never decide in my head if my childhood was actually bad/traumatic or not
Haven't but suspect I do have this just don't know how to go about a diagnosis
❤️not officially but I’m going to bring it up with my doctor the next appointment. I can’t believe I havent heard about it sooner. I tried to list it as a condition but it wasn’t showing up in the list of conditions. What are you doing for treatment and what has helped you deal with your trauma?
Yep, me
