So one of my boyfriend's roommates is really starting to get on my nerves. it's little things that I know shouldn't annoy me because I don't live there but they do. Like it's getting so bad that I see him and I get annoyed. Does anyone have any coping strategies? I'm not going to bring this up with my boyfriend or with the roommate because I know for certain it's a me thing.

Speak with a therapist, or a counselor. What part of the situation do you really have control over? What is it REALLY that makes you irritated about this person? Most of the time, they remind you of someone in your past that has wronged you or hurt you in someway and those emotions are surfacing in some way. Or, it could be general irritation and a matter of your own personal problems being projected onto someone else so they can be processed that way. Dig deep, Meditate, maybe journal and find the root of the irritation. Once you've found the source, you can tackle the problem head on! Hope this helps!

Oh wow I going through literally the same thing. For me, I find it helpful to talk to my best friend and vent about him, even if she doesn't have anything to say about the situation it feels nice to get it off my chest. Also depending on how your boyfriend feels about him, it might be worth it to tell your boyfriend how his roommates making you feel.
