Dealing with an Abusive Adult Child

If they are physically hurting you, please document your injuries and report them. If it's more mental/emotional or financial abuse, tell them that they are being abusive and that they need to change their behavior. If they refuse, or say they will and then don't, stop contact with them. Don't give them access to you or anything of yours. Reach out to friends and advocates in your area for support.
