Anyone with firbo/ME get dizziness? Been suffering with it for a few days now and not sure whether its anxiety from my many upcoming uni deadlines, or fibro/ME, or something else. Feeling waves of light headedness even when sitting, it's driving me mad! If so, what do you do to help?

yes, if it’s happening while sitting or standing it could be a symptom of orthostatic intolerance which is very common in people w fibro and ME. definitely recommend getting assessed for OI (including POTS) if you can. in the meantime, hydration, compression socks, and eating salt (can also use electrolyte drinks) might help. gentle exercise - like while lying down - also helps if it’s something you can tolerate with ME. i try to do work while lying down during a flare up. hope you feel better!

I have fibro and the only dizzyness i experience is because of my meds. If youre on anything, you might wanna check for side effects!

@nettle ahhh I've been looking into POTS as my heart has been palpatating randomly too. My doc put it down to anxiety, but I'll definitely bring it up to them. I've just googled and realised most of the symptoms fit. Though I'm sure there's a lot of overlap with POTS Fibro ME etc! Thanks for the info!
