Debilitating Lightheadedness: Anyone Else?

Wondering if anyone else has a lot of lightheadedness? I wouldn’t call it dizziness because the room doesn’t spin, but it makes me feel imbalanced and like my head is empty but full of pressure at the same time. It can be very debilitating and I can’t think or move. Every once in a while I get really dizzy too, the room spins, my eyes hurt, and my head feels tingly. When that happens I can’t move on my own at all, I need help to walk even a little.

Yes, definitely have experienced lightheaded-ness as well, pretty much everyday actually. I notice it gets worse when I don’t eat on time or drink enough water. The only time I remember feeling better about that symptom was when I was consistently seeing a chiropractor. Unfortunately, I haven’t been back since the pandemic began. I should be doing stretches at home and things like that, though. I definitely feel more imbalanced and my eyesight feels weird if my body also feels too stiff.

Thanks JennyLou, I was wondering if it might be an issue with my ears. I am in physical therapy right now for my neck as well, I’ve found it to be a little bit helpful so far

Oh, yes.... Mine got so bad (I also have Occipital Neuralgia and neck issues) I ended up in Physical therapy...and thoi was doubtful it does help. I went to my ENT first, for a hearing test along with a balance test), first... Just to make sure it wasn't a problem with my ears.

This happens to me in a flare up for sure. You are not alone!

Yeah! I have this. I also have really bad coordination and balance in general, especially during a flare up. I heard that that was semi-common amongst fibro people.
