I personally am not diagnosed but I my fiance has been diagnosed and quit treatment and therapy 3 weeks after starting and refuses to go back.... the condition has gotten much much worse since he quit... and refuses to go back to the doctor.... what can I do to try to convince him

      Hi, is this person being diagnosed with schizophrenia? Has he ever gone for treatment? Does he take medication? I would be happy to help in any way possible :)

      This is very common. You can't force him, and if it becomes debilitating I might recommended speaking about inpatient treatment, so he can't quit.

      Hi, First I want to strengthen you! Dealing with a loved one who suffers from schizophrenia is not easy … From my personal experience (I have been suffering from schizophrenia for a number of years), it is worthwhile to understand why he stopped. Most medications have severe side effects (some of which are not so pleasant to talk about). Luckily, today there is a fairly wide selection of medications to try ... If necessary I would recommend ordering a psychiatrist home.
