I'm so tired of being tired. I assume it's from my THREE covid infections. But I'm OVER IT. I can barely do anything. I have no energy. That, coupled with brain fog, anhedonia, and executive dysfunction, makes everything SO HARD. I can't focus or do anything I used to do, like, reading or diamond painting. I feel so defeated. 😓

Might be worth looking into long Covid. Sending hugs (if they're wanted) it's not fun feeling like this!!

COVID also causes brain fog and long- covid is a thing. If you don't have the energy to advocate for your self have a friend help. Taking a friend to the appointment can really help. They can make a list of questions and remember to ask them for you. They can also take note to better remember what the doctor says. Be upfront with people at work, and document it. Like keep copies if emails. Check for thyroid function and, vit B or D levels. Don't take no for an answer and don't let them tell you that there's nothing wrong. You know you and what you are feeling is valid.

I really struggle with brain fog, so I know the feeling. Not sure if you have access, but I got a blood test done recently and they found a folate deficiency. Might not be the same for you, but it can't hurt to have them test for anything that might be a quick fix or at least extra support for the fatigue

I'm sorry to hear that. If you don't feel like your Doctors are listening, maybe you should see new doctors. I'm having to do that now with my PCP, therapist, and OBGYN.

I do have ADHD and have tried meds for it. Stimulants I just get used to do fast, so right now I'm on a non-stim. Jury's still out on if it's helping or not. I mostly think it stems from my first covid infection and gets no reprieve from the subsequent ones. Plus I do have pretty moderate-severe depression, which exacerbates everything. I've been on all sorts of meds and treatments, but at most it keeps me slightly better than if I was on no meds. PCP hands me off to psych, psych says to follow up with PCP. No one knows what to do and neither do I. 😭

I am so sorry you're feeling this way. Believe me I completely understand. I feel like I have been tired for the last 3 years, although for me it's mostly a combination of my depression, my antidepressants, my chronic insomnia, and not having a reliable source for my ADHD medicine. Have you talked to a doctor about any of your issues? And have you tried ADHD medication? I know my main symptom is executive dysfunction, and being on something really seem to help with that. Believe me, I know how you feel. I used to read all the time, and I made jewelry in my spare time, and I really wanted to make my nieces some special jewelry for Christmas, but that never happened. I've had COVID once, but I don't think that figured into my personal issues. I wish I had some better advice, but all I can say is talk to your doctor, and maybe consider getting tested for ADHD, if you haven't already. Also, the only thing I've really been able to do is to say that I don't have the energy and I'm too tired to do something, and then making myself get up and do something anyway. It's not easy, but it's been the only way I've been able to get some important stuff done.
