Does anyone know how to cope with social anxiety? I never want to go out to places, (Ex.reasturaunts, stores, ect..) I always hear "Oh, you'll get over it soon" but because of my body it makes it even worse going out because of my size.. any advice?? <3

I agree with Hippy. My DMs are also always open. I struggled for years because I would literally get so nauseous I would throw up at the thought of ordering food. When I feel anxious about my weight I wear a big sweater that is two sizes too big for me and I feel thinner in it. It helps me feel a bit more confident and not like people are judging me. When it comes to restaurants I have noticed that personally I get more anxious when other customers are listening to me order, so I have had success at places with booths and parks where I bring take out.

My DM's are always open but, I have terrible social anxiety, have my whole life, I've learned a lot about how too not get over it but in a way go with the flow. If I know a situation will be way too uncomfortable and make me panic I don’t do it. Sometimes I push myself out of my comfort zone. I've eaten at restaurants alone but I would know a worker or two. It's so hard going out into the world especially when your insecure about yourself and how you appear. It's hard some days but sometimes it takes a good breather and try and if it's too much try again some other time. One more tip, if you have someone who can be present with you in social events it helps knowing someone is there if you freak out. Hope some of that helps!
