Are there ways to cope with social anxiety that dont include, "just get over it." I hear that a lot and I literally just can't get over it. It's really hard when I'm anxious about something and people try to help but they really just invalidate my condition.

when my anxiety gets bad i count in my head and/or walk around! sometimes i’ll count my steps because it causes me to turn my attention to something else.

take it nice and slow and try to open up when and if u feel comfortable don’t rush it cause it takes time
