I recently found out it knight be hEDS causing my hypermobility and joint instability. but how do I cope with the fact that my joints are starting to fail me. i know when i start my new physio plan it should get better again but right now there's so much I used to be able to do that I can't manage and everything hurts all the time and I feel generally ill all the time. it's all quite overwhelming to be honest.

One person with hEDS and chronic fatigue suggested finding a physical therapist who understands hypermobility. This can help with balance and pain management. They also mentioned the importance of not pushing your limits and learning how to do exercises safely to avoid further damage. Another person advised seeing a physical therapist, avoiding overworking yourself to prevent flare-ups, but still staying active. They emphasized that if you have days where you need a mobility aid, don't be afraid to use it.
