Talking to someone, instead of hurting yourself. I have heard putting Elmer’s glue on the same spot can help. Lotion is another good one (with a bonus of smooth skin), these are just a few suggestions. Hopefully you get some more soon.

Talking to people! Specifically people who understand you and what’s going on in your life. If you ever need to talk, me and a ton of people on this app are more than willing to listen. :)

Red sharpies over where you usually cut it gives the look of blood, lotion, holding ice or rubbing ice on a part of the body because it stings, wrist bands, and one thing I just found is a website called “fatal to the flesh” it’s a site so you can use the cursor and cut the computer and it looks like your arm would if you were cutting.
my personal favorite is drawing on myself! especially where I have the urge to hurt myself, you can use dry erase markers so they come off easy, or a rubber band that you can flick on your wrist, it is still pain but it’s not leaving permanent marks and it may help you

Talk to a professional! and Every time you get the urge to self-harm, send a simple text to someone you haven’t seen in a while. Like “I know it’s been a while, but how are you?” Or send a funny GIF to a friend. You never know who else is feeling bad too.
