I received a call from my doctor last week to talk about the ultra sound I had a day earlier, the specialist looked at it and noted they couldn't see my left ovary and were a little concerned about the thickness of the lining of my womb so they are sending me for an emergency appointment at gynecology. they mentioned either endometriosis or endo cancer. they were a little concerned because of my age and normally only see this with women who have had menopause. I'm in my 30's so slightly worried. any advice at what to expect would be greatfully appreciated.

Thinking of you as you navigate this scary time. You have endless support here. I want to ease your mind a little with the ovary,my mother and I both have consistent issues with finding our left ovary in ultrasounds. Sometimes the bowel has moved in a way that it hides it or other organs. Remember our internals are live moving parts. Good luck with your nexts lot of tests and I hope it all comes back really positive ❤️
@AnnyaC thank you! It's so refreshing hearing other people's similar experiences, makes u feel you aren't alone. Hard to make sense of it all when you feel alone 😔

@freckles86 any news yet?
Firstly I want to say this is a scary time but whatever it is be glad they found it. Secondly it is very hard to see the features you are discussing in an ultrasound. There is a lot of skill required for a good ultrasound, and depending on the country you are in the training of the person on the machine change. It could be something like a shadow over the ovary. I am saying this as until you know it is the worst don't convince yourself to think it is the worst. Go to the specialist and work from there.
@gravitypulledem thank you so much, I've been trying my best to put it at the back of my mind. And your right until I know with further examination I will go from there. Just wish this pain would do one!
