I just moved into my college dorm and I don't know how I'm going to handle my roommates. We all share a bathroom. What are the rules of being a roommate? I'm scared to take a shower because I'm afraid that I'll accidentally lock them out of the bathroom, or they'll walk in on me if I don't lock the door. They're not normal locks. And what about when it comes time to clean the bathroom? Should I just do it so I don't have to worry?

I’d advise getting to know them slowly and when you all feel comfortable have a group discussion on who cleans what and when. You should become familiar with the locks for your bathroom, but generally everyone should knock first. And they will probably hear the shower running too! I’m sure it will go good, just try to engorge everyone to have respect for each others things :) hope this helps
