Anyone else complete shit at “pacing”? I am currently 3 weeks into recovery from overdoing it (low socializing 3x in 3 days, really?!) and I’m extremely fed up with this take weeks or months to gain back enough energy to function ok nevermind live an enriched life just to tank after a few days, maybe a week at best. Any tips for learning to pace effectively?

Pacing can be ridiculously challenging. I’ve heard of an app that can help you figure out how to best to pace yourself called ME/CFS pacing. I haven’t tried it yet, but maybe it’s worth checking out.

It’s very hard when life doesn’t pace. I had 3 major social events in 2 days. All important days for other like batmitzma and stuff. Then next weekend I have nothing.

I have been the same way. I finally get enough strength to do something fun with my son such as Chuck E Cheese for maybe an hour or two at the most. Then I suffer for at least 3 days afterwards. It seems to me that I have been getting worse every year. I wish I had some useful advice on pacing but I still haven’t figured it out either and it’s been 14 years! Just know you aren’t ever alone with this. ❤️❤️
