I see so many posts i relate to but I'm scared to leave a comment, it feels like it's not my place or I'd be making it about myself. How do I know when it's okay and when i should just be supportive, both on here and out there?

I feel this very much. I try to think of it like this.... when I post because I am looking to relate to someone so I appreciate it when someone comments because I get that relation and connection with someone

I’d say just start your comment with I can relate: Then type the rest of what you feel like saying after. That way it primes the reader to understand where you’re coming from. Your experience is certainly valuable enough to be shared considering how many people reading the post and comments might benefit from your perspective!
