This is weird, but does anyone have tips on how to faint safely? I've had multiple episodes where I've gotten dizzy, but nothing I did could prevent the fainting. So far, I'm trying to make sure that if I can't get it under control, I'm at least sitting and leaning forward towards a table.

I sit down on the floor if I know I might faint. You can't fall further than the floor. If you have some thin blanket or sheet, that might be able to help you feel more comfortable lying down on the floor to avoid hitting your head.

I also lay flat on the ground or wherever I can if I’m going to faint. Sitting is good too if you have someone to make sure you stay put and don’t fall from the seated position

Kind of what you already said- as soon as I start feeling dizzy I start positioning myself in a way that when I drop I won't get hurt. So if I'm standing, I sit down. Stuff like that.
