Anyone know a few ways to calm down when you're doing a presentation? I have one tomorrow and just thinking about it gives me this sinking feeling in my stomach. So anything would help!

Ok this is going to sound insane but this is what I do: go into denial in order to get rid of the stress. Then when you have to present just completely black out/ zone out until it’s over. It may not be the most efficient but it is the least traumatizing because you remember literally nothing… ☝️😀

Practice it and make sure you have all the kinks out. Then take a deep breath and look between all the people moving your eyes slowly. That way you don’t get fixated on one person or thing. It’s alright to take a second to look at your presentation tools as well. Good luck!!

i find a friend (or if i have no friends in the class a fun object) to look at while i present and it makes the experience less stressful
something that helps me is i normally don’t listen when someone else is doing theirs. so majority of people probably aren’t paying attention…unless it’s a business type thing!
