Does anyone else with a long list of mental health problems ever feel really invalid? It's like every other day I see someone being fake claimed on social media because they had more than the "acceptable" amount of mental disorders. Like it doesn't even matter if it's all diagnosed, people still get fake claimed because of it. Everything I have is diagnosed except for 2 things (1 soon to be diagnosed), but I'm still starting to feel really invalid seeing everything constantly happening.

Yes. Because If we try to talk about it somtimes people judge and I just wanted to be understood. Not want attention but just be seen for me. Disorders and all.

Every time I talk about my OCD I have to preface it with the fact that I'm diagnosed cause everyone thinks it's a joke otherwise. One top of that I also have anxiety, ADHD, CPTSD, autism, and rapid cycling bipolar. I don't even know how to explain all that to people enough for them to even try to take me seriously.

Me too! I'm actually only diagnosed for one of my many mental health conditions, in the process of a second one, for various reasons (including I don't want to screw my chances at keeping it from unsafe people by having it in my medical record) and it makes me feel super invalid whenever I list them. Like, I know it's quite a bit, and the fact that there are MORE possibilities doesn't help, but like...I'm not lying. I just feel really stupid so usually I just make lists and only mention things far apart so people are less likely to notice. Feels silly but I don't trust people and feel invalid myself :/

Not anti RESEARCHED self-diagnosis, by the way! Just in case the post sounded that way
