I've been stressing myself out trying to figure out what mood disorder I have. I fit a lot of the criteria for schizophrenia and I'm taking Invega right now since I've been dealing with really bad impulsive thoughts, persecutory delusions, and anger issues. I know schizophrenia isn't classified as a mood disorder, more like a psychotic disorder. I've dealt with hallucinations, shadow people, the likes. I just wish my therapist would work with me on this a little faster.

It majorly sucks not knowing exactly what's going on up there. But one thing I've learned trying to get diagnosed is, even a best-guess diagnosis can lead you to strategies that are helpful. If you're having trouble pinning down a diagnosis, that probably means there's a good bit of overlap in the possibilities, and that could mean an overlap in treatments as well. I finally managed to find an NP who is a good fit for me, told her the laundry list of stuff I might have, and she went "hm, that might be ADHD, or it might be anxiety. (I didn't know that could present like ADHD, but okay.) This med helps with both, so let's put you on that and see what happens." Best. Doctor's visit. Ever.

@goronkiss It's been difficult trying to figure out what's been going on but hopefully we'll get to the bottom of it soon. I just get so anxious not knowing.
