how can I stop relying on my s/o for emotional support? I can beraly last not talking to him for some time

      because i wish someone told me this when i first realized i had this issue, taking the uncomfortable step and going to therapy or working on it a lot in therapy is the best option, but imo i wish i just broke up with that person because my attachment and unstable mental health drove them away / ruined any future chances. this is just my experience but i remind myself of this quote OFTEN; a relationship should only ACCENT your life, not control/support it.

      Journaling with help you get things off your chest .. it feels good to let go of things .. I do this everyday.. whether it’s guided journaling or self journaling

      I don’t have any advice for you but I know how you feel. My s/o and I used to work together and I loved it. Now I hate going to work because I don’t get to work with him anymore. And he hardly texts while he’s at work so I don’t get to talk to him until I get home
