Struggling with BPD as a Mom of 3

We definitely circle back quite often. My youngest two are battling some things right now. My youngest was just diagnosed oppositional defiance disorder and my middle has ptsd from trauma caused by his biological dad. Its been messy. 😅 But I'm trying. So hard. 🙏

im a 100 percent solo autistic parent to an autistic teen and if things get escalated we take breaks and breathe before coming back to the issues. we have an understanding and code word/motion if nonverbal for overwhelm and loop back around when we can. if that helps at all

I have 2 cats and a dog!! 🤗 and a pet venus fly trap? (Idk if it's considered a pet) lol

I agree with NovaPunk! Having a pet for emotional support has helped me with my BPD and it gives me a great way to cope with things!

not sure if itd be too much on top of the kiddos, but having a cat really helps me. whenever im getting stressed she can always tell and she comes to give me cuddles ♥️

I like to draw and listen to music 🎶

I play video games. And I color. Music helps too sometimes
