Honestly dump his ass, He can't respect your feelings or thoughts about the subject, and sounds like he's a mommy's boy it will forever be a issue, there's a difference between mom and kid relationships but over controlling situational mother is considered emotional incest. Yes your with him, but your not with his mother. Set boundaries. He is his own person with thoughts and feelings and doesn't need any side manipulation on what she thinks is right and wrong.
