Today I took the train to a ball game and they had a bus bridge between parts of the track to do work but the busses were blocking all the handicap parking and the people coordinating the busses refused to let my group park there. I was able to talk to a worker at the train platform and before I could finish talking she knew that what they were doing was illegal(I live in the USA) and she said she was going to make them move it. when I got back I was so happy to see that was true and people were able to park in the handicap spaces! so while I was not able to park there (I don't use a wheel chair I have arthritis and can't walk for long distances, I just had my friends help me get up to the platform) I'm glad to know I was able to help others who need it be able to get those parking spaces.

I watched a dr Phil episode about entitled people. This girl didn’t like disabled ppl and she was mean to anyone with Down syndrome. It was disgusting. But she said she thinks she can park there so she doesn’t have to walk so far. I wanted to hit her through the screen! When I was in my twenties, my family and I went to magic kingdom and me and my mom stopped at the restroom. And low and behold some girl and her mother were primping in there for twenty mins. So my mom bangs on the bathroom door. They came out and said something rude under their breathe like ok we’re done. And I went in to the stall. While I was in there my mom went ballistic on this woman and screaming at her and then it continued outside. She kept saying “bless you” or something dumb instead of what she should of done was apologize. So my mom reported her and she got kicked out of the park. I don’t like confrontation and I have a panic disorder so I was like suffocating bc I’m worried we are gonna be on YouTube bc my mom was legit going to fight this idiot. But later I was glad she did it. I think it’s nuts in the us how ppl who are actually disabled have to go through all these hoops to get on a freaking right that lasts two mins. Amusement parks aren’t my thing anymore. I am not amused.

Good for you for advocating! People cannot get away with this shit, even if they are “just parking there for a minute.” No. It’s illegal.
