It's more complicated than that, I am in a cane, severe pain due to disc injuries over the years...I'm I. A weight loss program that's working...doctor still refuses to treat my severe back pain unless I get bariatric surgery

I stopped worrying about weight loss. Thankfully my provider acknowledges that my weight gain is tied to some of my meds. My focus is on making healthier choices but I'm not perfect at it. I'd get a second opinion

Doctors are so stupid about this. They blame everything on your weight without doing their job. Yeah, I get that weight may affect stuff but that doesn't mean you shouldn't treat the symptoms, you still need care and shouldn't be denied it bc of your weight. It sucks and I hate to say it but you may want to see another doctor. I've had to switch docs before because they were not listening for the same reasons. And after doing that I got a proper diagnosis and treatment. Especially with your injuries, you need someone that will hear you out and treat you like the person you are without judgment. You deserve better! Good luck.

Lose weight. Stick to it. Change diet: no breads, no sugar, no starches..I did that too. And its working. Walk a lot, use exercise equipment 20-30 mins a day every other day. drink a lot water. Snack on watermelon, grapes, bananas, strawberries, blackberries-instead of chips, candy, sodas, donuts. You will drop the weight.
