I'm in the middle of a panic attack caused by chest pain while I was drifting to sleep. I am now convinced that I am dying, and am crying and shaking in my bathroom. Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated

@xxRedSkyxx, vistaril is an allergy med that helps with anxiety. It's not a narcotic. It could be worth looking into it. Or magnesium, lthyine, ashgawanda, or st johns wort all of which are all natural. Also splash cold water on your face when it starts.

@everyone, I do not take medicines. I have a fear of medicines, especially ones that alter my brain. I'm good now, and I have no idea what Clonex is, for Tomato! Thank you all for your support and concern

How are you feeling? Hope you are feeling better these days, please share with us. Since taking medication for my anxiety I didn't have severe attacks like you described, do you take medications?

Hey there, how’re your feeling?? I hope things are better now. Do you have any meds like clonex that can help at the acute moments?

Just saw your post! I’ve had them but like Ellen said above, they go away. It’s hard because I know exactly how you feel and you wonder if you should go to the hospital. Next time this happens get an ice cold wash cloth or cold water bottle and place it directly on your chest and breathe slowly. In through nose out through mouth. This ALWAYS makes me feel better. The item must be cold though.
