my ex cheated on me. I'm over it, I've been over it, im engaged now. he's never on my mind anymore. but i just thought about it again and now I'm so angry that I'm shaking. does anyone else experience that because my best friend is non-bd/bpd and this has never happened to her

Yes stirring around in the past reliving over and over that abandoned feeling . I so relate. I've had zero healthy relationships and I'll be 50 next year. I let people get to a point with me then I will push them away cause I don't want anyone to see there is no me there it's all a front I am a ghost with no soul it seems

yes definitely! i relate a lot. talk to your therapist about your ex, sounds like there’s some feelings that need to be explored

Relationships can cause trauma and PTSD especially with people with borderline personality disorder since one of our greatest fears is abandonment I get that sometimes too but you can get to a point hopefully like me where it does start to make sense and you can start to make peace of yourself I hope that those feelings and soon and you don't have to feel them so much in the future you are worthy of trust and love💕

I do sometimes. I kind of get energy from it, but then I calm it. You just have to release what comes up.
