I'm an fentanyl addict with (mostly) managed psychosis and less managed bipolar 1. Feeling overwhelmed and hopeless most days that my life will ever be anything but what it is. I'm just hoping to talk with someone who's as overwhelmed as I am so I don't feel as alone.

@Or Feeling of hopelessness is probably the most common symbol of physical depression! However, it may seem real at the time, it is a false sense of reality that just about always goes away. Knowing this has helped me when I get these feelings of hopelessness.
I feel like that a lot. I am lucky enough to have a good friend with bipolar 1 who is an alcoholic (he is currently my sponsor in AA) who had horrible issues with a lot of psychosis because of bipolar 1. He has achieved incredible things and helped so many people in major ways. He has exceeded the expectations of literally everyone who knew him then. He is hope personified. Feelings will not determine anything. Really just try, just do everything you can!! I believe in you!!!!!
Hey there! I'm not overwhelmed currently but I have been in your shoes and I still struggle with my bi polar disorder my biggest struggle is my psychosis I have a hard time connecting things to reality. I cut out all meds from my life because of my addiction to them and my past od. So I mange everything by myself and that can be overwhelming when I hit a low. If you ever wanna chat I'm here!
