Helping My Autistic Boyfriend Find a Job

me and my boyfriend are both autistic and usually it's really nice to be able to have someone that really understands and i really do love him a lot. we are moving in together soon and i've been very anxious about him not having a job lined up yet. he has very bad anxiety and it is difficult for him to keep a job so i have offered for him to apply where i work, which is a very good environment and i think he would fit in, but it's not a guaranteed position. when i brought up that he should look at other jobs and apply to other places just in case he kind of shut down and won't really talk to me about how he feels and what he's thinking. i'm just very scared because my current roommates are moving out and i can't afford to pay my current rent in full and i really really would hate to move back home. how should i go about this?
