I have had Anorexia for 46 years and have started to increase my diet from 600 calories a day only recently. I started having insomnia meaning I couldn't fall asleep at all no matter how tired I was in 1990 at which time I started on a combination of antidepressants and anti anxiety meds that help make you drowsy. I have seen 4 sleep specialists, bern on every med and supplement out there to try and get tired. I take 7 meds plus 2 cannabis gummies and even with all that, I amuck if I get 2 hours per night. I am desperate for any solutions. I have tried acupuncture, massage, cranial sacral, and I have had a 2x daily meditation practice for over 30 years. I am also still struggling with fear of weight gain even though I have done treatment centers 4 times, and countless therapy. open to any suggestions. Some in the field of ED recovery have said that they think the insomnia is related to the Anorexia but there is no real way to know since I still only eat about 900 calories a day which is probably not enough.
