The worst is trying to hide the fact that you’re doubled over in pain and gassy while in the company of others (especially in an intimate setting). I’ve had people ask me why they never see me eat. I’d rather skip a meal than deal with that!

YES! Leaving the house is so exhausting when you are in pain all the time and need to plan around your symptoms outside of the house. UGH I hardly leave the house and especially don’t go to new places.
@Floralbanter It’s literally the worst I barely leave my house other then to places I’m familiar with the restrooms. It annoys me so much
I think I have IBS but I also have collagenous colitis, and I get super nauseous when I'm anxious so yes I empathize!
